What do I need for baby? Baby registry Consultation.
Whether you haven’t even thought about it yet and don’t know where to start, already started and overwhelmed, or finished and want someone to look it over, I can help. If you are not doing a baby shower or registry and are purchasing yourself, this is a good way to make sure you’ve covered all your bases and help to not waste money.
What we will cover:
- Essentials vs nonessentials,
- What to leave until after baby comes
- Splurge vs Save vs Used (What’s worth the extra cost and what you can save on)
- How much of each thing do I need?
- What kind of diapers do I choose?
- Explanation of the different options of car seats, strollers, baby carriers, baby toys, and the pros and cons of different types of items.
- Thinking long term, adding big ticket items you’ll use when baby is a bit older.
- Follow up emails for 2 weeks in case you think of any items we missed or are still deciding between items and would like additional advice

What will I need? Postpartum Preparation- Prepare for what you’ll need for your recovery, support, relationship, self-care, mental health, and meals.
What we will cover:
- What will first 6 weeks be like? How can I make it go smoother?
- Essentials for recovery whether vaginal or C-Section birth
- What is a Sitz bath, bathroom essentials, cozy clothing, breastfeeding needs, benefits of belly wraps
- Setting up outside support from family and friends
- Help you find resources in your area to have them on speed dial in case you need them: Lactation consultants, postpartum doula, mental health providers specializing in Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Pelvic Floor Therapists, and parent support groups
- Make sure you and partner are prepared for changes in relationship and what your roles will be
- Discuss Meal prep ahead of time for freezer and meal delivery options if cooking is not an option and assistance from family/friends/postpartum doula
- Follow-up emails for 2 weeks in case you thought of any postpartum questions we missed
